Intensive English Program

${Contacts.Full Name},

Recently you met with a representative from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). I am excited to share more information with you about the Intensive English Program (IEP) at SIUE!

The IEP is a pre-university English language program designed for international students like you to complete in one or two semesters before starting their degree coursework.

The IEP is an affordable program that offers cutting-edge learning strategies and high-quality educational experiences both in an out of the classroom. Students have opportunities to make American and international friends, take trips to visit nearby cities, and study in one of the friendliest towns in the U.S.

IEP classes focus on reading, writing, listening and speaking. Classes teach practical academic language skills, as well as skills needed to acclimate to American academic culture. Students complete the program ready for success at SIUE.

You may qualify for scholarships and awards such as the International Geographic Enhancement Opportunity (GEO) award, which reduces costs to as low as $5,617 per semester. Please review this informational flyer to learn more.

We would love to answer any questions you may have. For more information, please contact the Office of International Admissions at intladm@siue.edu

Sincerely,

Asha Kansal
