Cougar Pride: Student & Alumni Highlights

Meet Taylor Bosch, graduate student in Accounting

Taylor made her way to SIUE from her hometown of Tuscola, Illinois, to pursue her undergraduate degree in Accountancy.  During her time as an undergrad she was highly involved in student organizations as VP of Finance for Alpha Sigma Tau, Treasurer for Beta Alpha Psi, and serving on a variety of University committees.  After completing her bachelor's degree in December of 2018, she went immediately on to begin the Master of Science in Accountancy program.

As a graduate student, Taylor has immersed herself in work experiences that have propelled her career development at rapid speed.  Last spring she secured an internship with BKD CPAs & Advisors, and she then moved on to complete an internship with Deloitte this past summer. Her internship with Deloitte led to an Auditor position, which she has accepted.  As she works to complete her master's degree, Taylor is serving as a Graduate Assistant in the Accounting department, and is on track to graduate in May.  She plans to sit for the CPA exam before beginning her position with Deloitte in the fall.
