CALL FOR PRESENTERS

2019 Graduate Student Research Symposium - Monday, April 1st, 2019
Morris University Center

Graduate Student Presentations
2:30pm to 4:00pm - Goshen Lounge - MUC

Register to present at the Symposium.  
*Deadline to register is Friday, March 8th!

Graduate and professional students are invited to display their research and creative activities. Any scholarly work can be entered.  Your work does not need to be complete to participate.  This event is for the purpose of showcasing your work as well as preparing you for future presentations.  There will be no judging.  Instead, evaluators will provide feedback to each participant.  

Students may present a poster, a creative project, or use the stage for a 10 minute performance.  

All student presenters are invited to attend the Chancellor's Researcher's Reception at 4:00 (RSVP required within presentation registration) at no cost - no guests allowed.

The Graduate School is looking for feedback from current graduate students who are enrolled in a program that requires a thesis or final paper to help us to better understand what kinds of University resources you feel would best support the completion of your final paper.  Please take a moment to fill out a short survey about what types of writing support you would like to see offered.

If you’re working on your thesis or final paper now, remember that the Graduate School has writing resources online as well as templates and formatting guidelines to assist with your thesis or final paper composition!

What message of inspiration would you share if you had the opportunity to stand at the podium and address your peers as you celebrate the completion of your graduate degree at commencement?

The Graduate School is currently accepting self-nominations for May 2019 graduates to serve as the student speaker at the spring commencement ceremony!

Eligibility Requirements:
 -Must have applied for and satisfy graduation requirements for May 2019
-Be a current graduate student in good academic and disciplinary standing
-Be available to attend the Graduate School Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 10, 2019, at 6:30pm
