Congratulations! You have been selected as a Graduate Scholar Award recipient.

This award is based on your academic achievements and promise of further success as a graduate student. As a Graduate Scholar Award recipient, you will receive a tuition waiver for a maximum of two academic terms in the 2020-2021 academic year (fall, spring or summer). 

You must accept your award by Wednesday, April 15, or the award will be forfeited. 

Award Conditions

• The Graduate Scholar Award requires enrollment in at least three semester hours of graduate credit during each term. You must also maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 throughout the award period. 
• A student may only receive the Graduate Scholar Award once, and the award may only be used for one graduate degree. 
• While the award provides a tuition waiver, award recipients are responsible for all mandatory fees. Please review the detailed terms and conditions.

Award Acceptance

To accept your award, please sign the Release of Information form, as well as the Graduate Scholar Award Agreement form, and submit both via email to graduateadmissions@siue.edu. Once we receive your completed forms, we will notify the Office of Student Financial Aid of your tuition award. 

Please note, it will take at least 24 hours from the date of enrollment before the tuition waiver is posted to your account.
