Interested in your child joining our Suzuki program? Please come to this informational meeting! 

We offer Little Listeners (Suzuki Early Childhood) for ages birth-3, and violin, viola, and cello lessons for ages 3 and up. 

There is no commitment required at this meeting. We will show you what our program is about and give you the opportunity to ask questions.

Beginning and advanced students of all ages are welcome.

When preparing for fall classes, don’t forget the Career Development Center gives presentations on career-related topics.

A career counselor is able to visit classes to give presentations on the following topics, including but not limited to:

  • LinkedIn
  • Career Assessments
  • Preparing for a Career Fair
  • Social Media
  • Professional Attire and Etiquette

Presentations can be done 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday–Friday or by request. We will do our best to accommodate all requests. However, there will be times when we have limited staff availability.

If you would like your class to use our services (i.e. mock interviews, assessments, resume approvals, etc.), please notify us in advance that your students will be making appointments, as well as description of the class assignment and name of the class.

Put on your overalls and boots—it’s off to the barnyard for some farm-time fun! You’ll discover plants, animals, songs, sounds and games, as you have fun exploring all there is to do Around the Farm.  And then … get ready for lots of ribbity-hopping, trumpety-stomping and oinkity-rolling!  Animals a-Dancing uses the movements and sounds of frogs, elephants and pigs to emphasize how many movements you can make with your body, and how many sounds you can make with your voice.

Lace up your sneakers, we're going out on the town! We'll visit the city and see what there is to see, then head out into the country to check that out, too. Bear will, of course, go over the mountain and go a-yodeling, too. Come along! You never know what adventures you'll have when you're On the Town with Bear.

All classes will be held on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at SIUE in partnership with the SIUE Suzuki Program. Classes are 45 minutes. Class times are subject to change due to enrollment numbers. 

Tuition includes all class fees and high-quality at-home materials package. The non-refundable class fee is due in full with registration form and confirms your space in the class. At least one participating adult must accompany the child(ren) in all classes. Do not bring non-enrolled siblings.

The Office of Educational Outreach is proud to announce a Lifelong Learning trip to Paris, France!

Embark on a world adventure with us to immerse yourself in five days of France's finest culture and cuisine, including a hands-on French cooking class. Experience a Seine River Cruise, the iconic Eiffel Tower, Monet's Home, Montmartre and Versailles personalized  city tours, a four star hotel and much more!

This program includes two tour guides and transportation to all sites. Moderately paced tours average 2-3 miles of walking per day.  

Travel Dates: April 19-25, 2020
Cost: $2,975 in double occupancy
$4,199 with flight (must be registered by Jan. 13, 2020)
