Rain Plans for Convocation and Parade

Greetings!

It looks like there is a chance of rain in the forecast during today’s Convocation and Parade. In the event of light rain, we will continue with the parade and photo as planned at the Cougar Statue.

With that in mind, feel free to pack an umbrella or poncho (preferably red) before you head over for check-in in the Morris University Center Goshen Lounge. Should the weather be so bad that we decide to cancel the parade and photo at the Cougar Statue, we invite you to join us in the Vadalabene Center for the photo.

We will do our very best to communicate our decision as quickly as possible. However, we want to wait as long as possible to keep the tradition of the parade and photo alive, therefore, it is unlikely we will make a call before check-in begins.

Please keep an eye on your email. You can also watch the live stream of Convocation at siue.edu/tv

Thanks again for your support!  We expect The SIUE Experience to be picture perfect!
