The 2019 Rainbow Graduation Celebration is free and open to all LGBTQIA and Ally SIUE undergraduate, graduate and professional students who have earned their degree in spring 2019.

The NCERC at SIUE Research Center is hosting a series of open-house job fairs to fully staff its upcoming pilot plant project.

The NCERC is scouting individuals with mechanical, operational and/or technical experience. Attendees should be prepared to take a pre-test to measure technical knowledge, a plant tour and mock interview.

Closed-toed shoes and long pants are required for the tour. Refreshments will be provided. Attendees should also bring an updated resume.

Segue Highlights SIUE Alumni Association Engagement

Incorporated in 1972, the SIUE Alumni Association exists to establish, nurture and maintain the relationship between the University and its alumni.

On this week’s episode of Segue, Chancellor Randy Pembrook interviews Alan Kehrer, president of the SIUE Alumni Association.

This episode will air at 9 a.m. Sunday, April 28, on WSIE 88.7 FM The Sound and siue.edu/wsie.

Kehrer earned a bachelor’s in business administration with an emphasis in management and a master’s in business administration from SIUE. He has been an Alumni Association board member since 2013 and served as president since 2016.

SIUE Suzuki Program Spring Festival, April 28

Students, ages 3 to 18, will perform pieces from the Suzuki repertoire, as well as orchestral selections. All instruments in the SIUE Suzuki Program will be featured, including violin, viola and cello.

Call for Presentations for SIUE Diversity Day 2019

The Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion, in collaboration with the Diversity Day Committee, invites proposals for engagement sessions and Ed talks for the 2019 SIUE Diversity Day, which will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

The theme for Diversity Day is “From Awareness to Action, SIUE Shaping a Changing World.”

Engagement sessions are 60 minutes long and should be focused on a topic related to diversity, equity and/or inclusion. Proposals will be accepted until Wednesday, May 1.

Campus Kitchen at SIUE Food Drive through May 3

Campus Kitchen at SIUE is hosting a food drive through Friday, May 3 to assist in restocking its food supply.

This food drive will collect dry and canned food donations that will be used to continue our efforts in creating balanced meals for those who are food insecure in the St. Louis Metro area.
