Faculty/Staff Open House at the Student Fitness Center, Feb. 12-13

Did you know that although the general public cannot get a membership to the Student Fitness Center (SFC) on campus, SIUE faculty, staff, and their families have the option of joining?

To showcase all that the SFC has to offer, the Department of Campus Recreation invites faculty and staff to take advantage of two days of free access:

6 a.m.-11 p.m.
Tuesday-Wednesday, Feb. 12-13
Student Fitness Center

We have a large variety of cardiovascular and strength equipment, a free weight room, an one-eighth mile track, free group fitness classes (yoga is normally $15/semester for members), courts for sports play and an indoor pool.

You can ask for a free tour, a free equipment orientation, or just work out or play!

Please stop by the Reception Desk with your SIUE ID and government issued ID (driver’s license) on Feb. 12 and/or 13 to sign a waiver. Then you can visit the SFC as much as you like over these two days!

A faculty or staff SFC membership is only $240 per year, and we have discounted membership rates for your spouse/partner and/or dependents as well. Various payment options are available.

Visit us at http://www.siue.edu/crec/ for an extensive list of amenities and programs available, or ask for a brochure at the Reception Desk.

For more information, call 650-2348 or email Margaret Fredericksen at marfred@siue.edu.
