Welcome International Students

Please join the Office of International Affairs in welcoming more than 100 new international students and scholars to SIUE, many of whom arrived over the past weekend.

In this group, we welcome nine visiting students, two Fulbright students, one Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant (who will teach Arabic) and 10 new visiting scholars.

More than 50 countries will be represented in our international student/scholar population, including new countries of Tunisa, Chile, Zambia and Congo.

If you see international students or scholars on campus who need assistance, your help is very much appreciated!

Feel free to direct any student or scholar needing help to the Office of International Affairs, Student Success Center, Room 0300, 650-3785.

Read the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion's Annual Report

Please enjoy the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion’s Annual Report for 2017-18

You can also find it on the Annual Reports page of our website.

As you can see in the 100+ pages, we worked diligently to cover as many of the university’s diversity and inclusion initiatives as possible, and you may see your department or area mentioned in the report! Please be sure to make sure you send us your stories so that we can capture your diversity and inclusion efforts in the 2018-2019 annual report.

We look forward to another productive, exciting and inclusive year.

Thank you for your commitment to a diverse and inclusive SIUE!
