Volunteer to Help Students During Fall 2018 Book Rush

Hello SIUE Faculty and Staff,

As things will begin to get lively again on campus, we are still in need of a few good volunteers!

If you have a hour or so and would consider volunteering time at Textbook Service during Fall 2018 Book Rush, we would appreciate the help. Your job will be to assist our students in finding their new books via their "pick list" and in general to be a friendly face.

It is also a great opportunity to touch base with our students (and a few parents) to welcome them to SIUE!

If you can give time, please click this link to sign up for a time.

Thanks again for considering this opportunity!

Volunteers Needed for University Housing Move-In on Thursday, Aug. 16

We are looking for faculty and full-time staff volunteers to assist with Move-In Day for first-year students on Thursday, Aug. 16.

Volunteers help welcome first-year students and their families to SIUE, and direct traffic at the entrance to Lot B and each of the first-year residence halls (Bluff, Prairie and Woodland).

If you would like to volunteer for this amazing process and show your SIUE pride while welcoming new students, please sign up at the following link, signupgenius.com/go/20f084da4a628a0f94-volunteers.

Please email Rex Jackson at rjackso@siue.edu with any questions about this opportunity.

Volunteer for the SIUE Experience Service Day, Aug. 18

We need YOU to make The SIUE Experience a success for the Class of 2022!

Please consider volunteering to help welcome our new students. The first impressions they experience during this orientation program can have a lasting impact on their connection to SIUE.

9 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 18

We are looking for faculty and staff to accompany new students and upper class student leaders on our Class of 2022 service project.

This activity puts our SIUE value of citizenship into action. We are providing service to 10 community agencies in the St. Louis and Metro East area: Arlington Wetlands, Discovery Garden, EarthDance Farms, Granite City Community Garden, The Gardens at SIUE, La Vista CSA Farm, Metro East Humane Society, Ronald McDonald House, Watershed Nature Center and Willoughby Farm.

Bus transportation from Lot B will be provided.

To volunteer for the service project, please click here to sign up.

Thank you in advance for your support!
