Attend A Midsummer Night's Dream at SIUE

The Department of Theater and Dance will present William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in the Metcalf Theater:

7:30 p.m.
Friday and Saturday, July 6-7 and 13-14

2 p.m.
Sunday, July 8 and 15

All seating is general admission. House opens one half-hour before curtain. Due to the intimacy of Metcalf Theater, late comers may not be seated.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, non-SIUE students, children, SIUE retirees, alumni, faculty and staff. SIUE students get in free with a valid ID.

SIUE Women's Volleyball Introduces Cubs Clinic

SIUE Women's Volleyball will host camps for students of all ages and will for the first time present Cubs Clinic.

Clubs Clinic is a two-day introduction to volleyball skills for students, grades K-4. 

All camps will be held in the Vadalabene Center main gym.

All Skills (4-12th grade)
9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Monday-Tuesday, July 9-10

Cubs Clinic (K-4th grade)
9-11 a.m.
Monday-Tuesday, July 16-17

Attacking Camp (4-12th grade)
1-4 p.m.
Monday, July 16

Defense/Passing Camp (4-12th grade)

Campers will learn about the game of volleyball from SIUE student-athletes and coaches, with a focus on fun!

Kindermusik Summer Camp at SIUE, Register by July 9

Kindermusik Summer Camp is offering Out & About.

This musical summer camp will be a trip into the world of imagination, and all you will need to pack is a sense of adventure! We’ll ride bikes, hike in the mountains, scuttle like crabs and fly like seagulls. 

The camp is for you and your children, ages 2-5:

Monday-Thursday, July 16-19
5:45 p.m. and 
6:45 p.m. (one 45-minute class per day)
SIUE Early Childhood Center (ECC)

The first child registration fee is $75, with each additional child at $25 each.

All Class & Digital At-Home Materials are included with the camp fee. One digital at-home materials package per family. The non-refundable class and digital at-home materials fee is due in full with registration form and confirms your space in class.

At least one participating adult must accompany the enrolled children in the summer camp class.

Office of Admissions to Host Students as Part of Camp College Program

The SIUE Office of Undergraduate Admissions will host 50 high school students participating in the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC) Camp College program on July 10-13.

Through Camp College, students will learn how to navigate a college fair, write an essay and identify which college is the best fit for them.

Take a Lifelong Learning Road Trip to NCERC and Recess Brewing

You're invited on a Lifelong Learning road trip to the National Corn-to-Ethanol Research Center (NCERC) and Recess Brewing.

Learn how NCERC at SIUE is advancing biofuels research through a guided tour including a short tour of the beer, wine and spirits production.

SIUE Lovejoy Library “Night in the Stacks” Fundraiser, Aug. 11

Al Holliday and the East Side Rhythm Band is the featured artist for Lovejoy Library’s “Night in the Stacks” annual fundraiser.

Part of the fundraising efforts will consist of a silent auction that will include items from performers of the Mississippi River Festival, as well as other unique items.

Sugo’s Spaghetteria will provide dinner, and there will be a cash bar for the evening.
