Please Volunteer by Aug. 5 for Move-In Day on Aug. 18

SIUE Residence Life is looking for faculty and full-time staff volunteers to assist with Move-In Day for first-year students on Thursday, Aug. 18.

Volunteers help welcome first-year students and their families to SIUE and direct traffic at each of the three first-year residence halls (Bluff, Prairie and Woodland).

If you would like to volunteer for this amazing process and show your SIUE pride while having fun, please email Rex Jackson at rjackso@siue.edu by Friday, Aug. 5 and specify which shift(s) you would like to work.

Please provide your first and second choice:
• 8-9:30 a.m.
• 9:30-11 a.m.
• 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
• 12:30-2 p.m.
• 2-3:30 p.m.

Returning SIUE students will move into Evergreen Hall and Cougar Village on Saturday, Aug. 20.

Presenters are needed for the Fall 2016 Leadership Programming Series. 
The Student Leadership Development Program is open to any SIUE undergraduate or graduate student and covers a variety of topics centered around leadership, communication and career issues.

**On Saturday, Sept. 24, we will host our Student Organization Leadership Orientation. This is a required program for all of our student organizations. There are more than 300 student leaders attending this program. Approximately 12 breakout presenters are needed for the morning from 10 a.m.-noon.
 
**On Tuesday, Oct. 25 from 4-7:30 p.m. we will host a Diversity and Leadership Institute. This program will be open to 60 students. Anyone interested in presenting during any of the three session times would need to be able to cover such topics as issues regarding diversity and multiculturalism.
