Registration is open for the SIUE THATCamp 2016. Registration is $10 and open to anyone who is interested in participating.

This digital humanities unconference is a small, open, inexpensive meeting where humanists and technologists of all skill levels learn and build together.

The breakout sessions are loosely formed prior to the conference and finalized the first day of the unconference. This allows for a dynamic, collaborative atmosphere as opposed to the formal, rigid and competitive format of a typical conference setting.

The theme of this year’s THATCamp is “Engaging Communities through Digital Humanities.”

Come and share your ideas for digital humanities, community and collaboration.

SIUE Women's Basketball Summer Camp Dates Announced

SIUE Women's Basketball has announced details on its annual summer camps being offered in the Vadalabene Center.

June 10 - Elite Camp
This camp runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and is open to players of all skill levels entering grades 9-12.

June 11-12 - Varsity Team Camp
This camp is varsity level competition and is open to all high school teams.

June 13-16 - All-Skills Day Camp
This camp is open to players entering grades 3-8. Campers can choose either the full-day option from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. or mornings only from 9 a.m.-noon.

June 17 - Shooting Camp
Players entering grades 3-8 will be in a session from 9 a.m. to noon. Players entering grades 9-12 will be in a session from 1-4 p.m.

SIUE Suzuki Program Offers String Lessons and Camp

The SIUE Suzuki program has several opportunities for string players this summer! You do not need to be a current SIUE Suzuki program student to participate in either of these.

Summer String Lessons: We offer a six-week summer lesson session, open to anybody, even adults, whether or not you already have playing experience. Summer lessons can help prevent that notorious summer learning loss.
