Employee of the Month Reception, Jan. 21

Brenda Cusanelli, chief clerk for KHE/ Speech Pathology, is the recipient of the January Employee Recognition Award. Brenda was nominated by Erik Kirk, chair of the Department of Kinesiology, Health Educatiion, and Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, with support from James Panico and Steffany Chleboun.

Please join us in congratulating Cusanelli:

2 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 21
Founders Hall, Room 1208

You can also send a congratulatory email to bcusane@siue.edu.

"Brenda Cusanelli has worked tirelessly and efficiently in a multifaceted role as chief clerk," Kirk said. "In the past year, the Speech Language Pathology and Audiology program has merged with the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education. During this time we have lost two full-time office support staff. Despite these challenges, Brenda has always been willing to step up. She exudes professionalism and handles her duties and responsibilities with little or no direction or supervision. It is fair to say she exceeds expectations in everything she does."

"One of my favorite sayings, 'Gratitude is the Best Attitude!' couldn’t be more fitting for this occasion," Cusanelli said. "I am truly grateful to have a job that I love and am honored to be named SIUE’s January Employee of the Month. Many thanks to Erik Kirk, James Panico and Steffany Chleboun for the nomination and support. I feel fortunate to work with many great people here at SIUE."

Questions or comments should be directed to Maria Marmolejo at mmarmol@siue.edu or 650-2127.
