We are pleased to invite you to a celebration in YOUR honor! Please join us for SIUE: The WILD southWEST on Wednesday, April 25, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. in the Morris University Center’s Meridian Ballroom and on its adjoining patio. There will be unique western-style games, a photo booth, special musical offerings and plenty of fun as we celebrate the end of another successful academic year. And, to honor the campus community's hard work in serving our students with excellence, this year's event will feature a special relaxation station. Come check it out! We’ve also put in an order for western-grade sunshine!

Please bring your Cougar ID Card in order to enter into the grand prize drawing. You’re invited to wear blue jeans, cowboy boots, vests, bandanas and any other western apparel for the day. Please feel free to also wear your SIUE apparel to the event along with your sheriff’s badge (nametag).

Again, this year’s theme is SIUE: The WILD southWEST, and there will be a delicious lunch and entertainment. We hope you’ll make it a point to meet your friends from around campus to relax and celebrate our SIUE community.

Many departments have donated great prizes for a random drawing distribution. These will be on display at the lunch, and will be announced following the event - you do not need to be present to win.

And finally, for those who are driving to the event, free parking will be available in Lot B from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. For those supervisors with employees who have limited access to email, please pass this information along to them so they can join us.

We hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to visit with us and with your colleagues in a fun, relaxed atmosphere as we celebrate all you do for SIUE.
