Princeton Review Tabs School of Business Among Nation's Best

The Princeton Review has named SIUE's School of Business as one of the best in the country for on-campus MBA for the 13th consecutive year. The education services company features the School in the 2019 edition of its book, "The Best 252 Business Schools."

Austin Tuttle Lincoln Academy Student Laureate

Senior economics and finance major Austin Tuttle, of Sherman, was recognized during the Lincoln Academy of Illinois’ 43rd Annual Student Laureate Convocation on Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Old State Capitol in Springfield. The annual event honors one senior from each of the state’s four-year, degree-granting colleges and universities for their excellence in curricular and extracurricular activities.

Demirer Receives Inaugural Heitz Faculty Research Award

Riza Demirer, PhD

Riza Demirer, PhD, professor in the School of Business’ Department of Economics and Finance, is the inaugural recipient of the Lawrence B. Heitz Faculty Research Award.

Demirer was selected for his exceptional and original scholarship in the areas of investments, asset pricing, risk management, valuation and decision theory.
