Brandon Michael Triplett, 1975-2026; Electrician
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville electrician Brandon Michael Triplett died Thursday, May 28. He was 50 years old.
Brandon was a cherished husband to his wife Whitney, and beloved father of four sons: Dylan (Brenna), Ryan, Ozzie and Bodhi. A University staff electrician for more than seven years, Brandon was a lifelong tradesman who served in the IBEW Local 649 and Local 309.
He is survived by his wife and sons, parents Paul and Susan Triplett, brother Chris Triplett and numerous nephews.
When not perfecting his trade, Brandon enjoyed playing baseball, hunting and playing guitar. He was a revered member of the Prairie Inn, in Prairietown, Ill, where his Celebration of Life will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2.
