Malcolm Goldsmith, 1952-2021; Was Kinesiology and Health Education Faculty

Malcolm Goldsmith, of Sanibel, Fla., formerly of Edwardsville, died Tuesday, June 1 in Edwardsville. He was 68.
Goldsmith was a professor of kinesiology and health education at SIUE from 1978 until his retirement in May 2010. Grounded in service, Goldsmith was dedicated to his students, and was highly involved in the National Health Education Honorary, Eta Sigma Gamma.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Friday, June 4 at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. A burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to Frontal Temporal Degeneration or Eta Sigma Gamma.
