On Saturday, March 7, SIU School of Dental Medicine hosted SIU SDM March Mimosas Brunch 2026 to introduce current students to members of the SIU SDM Alumni Association. The inaugural event brought together practitioners at all levels over chicken & waffles, fresh fruit and champagne.

SIUE right-hander McKayla Anderson has been selected as the Ohio Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week.
Anderson threw 5 1/3 scoreless innings in SIUE's 6-4 win Saturday at Tennessee Tech. Her pitching picked up the Cougars after falling behind in the second inning.
The sophomore from Algonquin, Illinois, has thrown seven innings this season and has not allowed a run.
