SIUE’s Centralized Enrollment Services Ease Record Number of SIUE First-Time, First Year Students Into Spring Semester
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville will reopen its Centralized Enrollment Services, a convenient one-stop option for students to finalize enrollment and get connected before classes begin. Dedicated SIUE staff will be stationed in Morris University Center (MUC) to offer support to ensure the continued academic success of the record number of enrolled students for academic year 2025-26.
From Thursday, Jan. 8 through Wednesday, Jan. 14, including weekend hours on both Saturday and Sunday, students visiting the MUC will have easy access to admissions (undergraduate and graduate), financial aid, scholarships, registration, student IDs and transfer services.
“At SIUE, Enrollment Management is committed to optimizing our enrollment by creating a more student-centered experience, enhancing strategic recruitment/outreach efforts, and strengthening collaborations on campus and among our constituent groups,” said Andy Benoit, EdD, Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management.
“We’re leveraging data-informed outreach, refining our admissions processes, as well as streamlining timelines and services so that every student feels supported from their initial recruitment through graduation. By aligning our efforts with institutional priorities, we can ensure sustained enrollment growth and student success.”

First-Year and Transitional Advising will be available in the Student Success Center: SSC1220, and Military and Veteran Services will assist in MUC2055.
PREVIEW DAYS – February 21 and March 28
On Feb. 21 and March 28, SIUE will host Preview Days to give applicants an opportunity to meet students and faculty, tour the campus and experience life first-hand as a Cougar. Throughout the day, potential students can imagine themselves taking classes and gathering in residence halls in upcoming years.
SIUE hosted nearly 600 prospective students during a recent Preview Day in October.
