New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation will jump-start the university experience for admitted first-year students. This program includes academic advisement, course registration and information about the resources for success available at SIUE.
Orientation Dates
Students entering in fall 2022 should register for one of the following New Student Orientation dates. All sessions will be held from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
In-person Orientation
- June 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30
- July 21, 22
Please note: Dates that are crossed out have reached capacity and are no longer available for registration.
Virtual Orientation
Please note: This option is open only to students who live five or more hours away, or students 21 and older.

Cost
The registration and enrollment fee is $190. This fee helps ensure a smooth transition to the University and includes your enrollment deposit, advising and course registration. This fee is non-refundable regardless of time of cancellation.
