Search for Benefits
We understand that getting into college can be challenging. It can be even more difficult when factoring in additional steps veteran students must follow in order to receive their benefits. Our goal is to make the benefits process easier for the involved veteran student.
SIUE offers the Military and Department of Defense Tuition Rate to make college more affordable for active military, reservists, National Guard and Department of Defense personnel. You can also select your branch of service below. Click on the benefit to view short summaries of program information with a link to requirements, covered cost, timeline of use, application process and campus requirements.
Don't forget to submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The application opens each year on October 1 for the next fall. Please visit Student Financial Aid for calculators to help determine the cost of attendance.
