Camcorder Checkout Policy

  1. Camcorders may be checked out to faculty and students, with a valid I.D., provided the student has been assigned to use the equipment by an instructor. The sponsoring faculty member must complete the check out form in person.
  2. Camcorders can be checked out for a maximum of seventy-two hours. They can only be picked-up and returned during normal Campus Services operating hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m., to 4:00 p.m.
  3. Camcorders cannot be reserved. They are checked out on a first come, first serve basis. Borrowers can only checkout one camcorder at a time.
  4. Borrowers may have instructions in the use of equipment and will be responsible for all equipment and manuals. Borrowers will be charged for any repair and/or replacement costs associated with lost, stolen, or damaged equipment and manuals.
  5. Borrowers are responsible for all equipment they checkout and will be charged a replacement fee for any lost, damaged or unreturned equipment.
  6. A fine of $5.00 per day will be levied for overdue items. Each borrower placed on Accounts Receivable for unpaid fines will be assessed an additional $20.00 charge.
  7. Borrowers will provide their own videocassettes. (1/2 VHS)
  8. Borrowers who violate policies or demonstrate negligence will be denied future borrowing privileges.
