The legislative branch of Student Government consists of 22 senators elected by the Student Body during annual elections held during Spring Semester or appointed, pursuant to the Student Government Constitution. Two of the twenty elected Senators are graduate students. Two freshman senators are appointed during the Fall Semester.

Vision for Student Government: "Implement more leadership programming and opportunities for students. Push for more languages to be taught at SIUe and add additional courses to those that exist for more in-depth learning. Help expand the Diversity and Inclusion Office, along with PEACe so more beneficial programming can be offered to students. Expand the course catalog description to include previous course syllabi."

Vision for Student Government: "I would love to see SG become more transparent and open to students. Students should be able to feel like they can talk to their representatives at any time. I would also like to work with counseling services to find a way for all students to receive counseling and to not be recommended to an off campus provider."

Vision for Student Government: "Continue and progress SIUE's work towards diversity and inclusiveness on campus. Another goal is to reach out to different ethic groups to let them know of the copious amounts of opportunities and scholarships that SIUE offers. Another vision I have is to partner up with other diversity groups around or in St. Louis to gain insight on, or add more scholarship opportunities for SIUE for minorities."

Vision for Student Government: "My vision for student government is to ensure everyone on SIUe's campus has a voice. I want students to have the ability to provide their input and make them aware of what is going on in their respective department. As senator of the school of education, health, and human behavior, I also plan to foster an environment in which students feel comfortable approaching faculty and I want to collaborate with other departments to work on solutions to problems on campus."

Hobbies: My hobbies include jogging, hiking, drawing, and hanging out with my friends.

I think the Student Government office is in a great location but needs to be advertised as a welcoming place for all students.
