Carolyn Compton
Assistant Director, Community Engagement
Carolyn Compton is a Saint Louis, MO native. She graduated from Fontbonne University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work in 2013. In 2017, Carolyn graduated from Saint Louis University with a Master's Degree in Social Work and a Master's Degree in Public Administration. Carolyn spent four years as a Community Advocate for two St. Louis communities. Most recently, Carolyn held the position of Volunteer Coordinator at ALIVE (Alternatives to Living In Violent Environments) a domestic violence shelter serving women, men, and children in need of shelter and services related to intimate partner violence.
Carolyn values volunteering and has a sincere passion for women's and children's issues as well as criminal justice system reforms to victim advocacy. Away from work, you will find Carolyn enjoying time with her family, friends, and her dogs. She loves to travel, work out at the gym, meditate, listen to music and sing (only in the car), and go to the movies (action movies and superhero movies are the best)!
