Welcome from UGC President, Jennifer Gaytan

The purpose of the United Greek Council (UGC) is to create a strong and positive image which respects the diversity of its member organizations and the community as a whole through the following objectives:

  • Promote high standards of scholastic achievement,
  • Work toward diversity awareness by providing member organizations with a strong and unified voice on campus,
  • Improve relationships among all Fraternity and Sorority Life community members,
  • Engage in the United Greek Council community and support its’ member organizations,
  • Provide service to the campus and community.

SIUE is currently home to one (1) Latina sorority and one (1) co-ed Latino fraternity. These culturally-based organizations help promote multicultural awareness and offer a fraternal and cultural experience for members at the same time.  Each of the organizations listed below will hold their own informational events during both the fall and spring semesters.

The United Greek Council of SIUE would like to welcome you to our website, and also invite you to explore and learn more about us. For any further inquiries regarding the UGC community or wanting to learn more about this council, please contact any of our officers.
