Outlook 2011 - Importing Contacts / Address Book(s)

This document will provide step-by-step instructions on how to import an Address Book into Outlook 2011 using an .olm or .pst file. The instructions specifically follow the steps to import a .olm file, but the steps are still relevant for .pst files.

Import an Address Book into Outlook 2011 using an .olm/.pst file.

1. From Outlook 2011, select the Tools tab, then select Import.
2. Keep the default Outlook Data File (.pst or .olm) option selected. Click the right arrow to continue.
3. Select Outlook for Mac Data file (.olm) or Outlook for Windows file (.pst).
4. Navigate to the Outlook for Mac Data File (.olm) or Outlook for Windows Data file (.pst) containing the Address Book meant for importing.
5. Once the import is complete, click Done.
6. Verify that the Address Book was successfully imported in the contacts list.
