Using the Web Cams

Some conference rooms and all of the meeting rooms in the CBRC have a web cam available for use. The laptops available for checkout at the front desk already have the software loaded. If you would like to use the web cams with your own personal laptop, you can download the software from Logitech using the link below. Simply click "Downloads."

QuickCam Orbit AF Software

Use the provided USB cable to connect your computer to the USB port in the center of the desk. Open the Logitech Software, and you are all set. Pan, Tilt, and Zoom controls can all be controlled using the Logitech software.. The camera has been tested with Skype and WebEx, and should work with all other videoconferencing software.
