The International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) office provides services to 900 international students at SIUE. We offer support to F-1 and J-1 students, as well as international visiting scholars. Our office supports students with pre-arrival information, campus resources, immigration advisement and cross-cultural programming.
Office Information
Students are welcome to stop by the ISSS office for general questions Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am-4pm. Our office will conduct all student advising meetings in-person, remotely via Zoom or by phone. For more details about making an advising appointment with an advisor click Advising. If you need to request a letter, click on the Immigration Status tab.
If you are expecting government documents in the mail (USCIS notices, EAD cards, Social Security Number cards) office staff will send you a notification via email. Please bring your CougarCard with you when you visit the office.
