Advising

Students are welcome to stop by the ISSS office Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 am-4 pm for general questions.

• For questions regarding Social Security Numbers, Job Offer forms, new student check-in, adding/dropping courses, SEVIS Transfers stopy by the front desk, call 618-650-3785 or email intlprogr@siue.edu.
• For immigration issues including immigration status, changing status, visa, passport, class enrollment requirements, employment (OPT or CPT), and I-20 or DS-2019 questions,  please schedule an appointment with Cheryl Borowiak (students with last name that begins with A-K) or Amy Nusser (students with last name that begins with L-Z) at isss@siue.edu and an advisor will follow up with you.
• Immigration Walk-In Advising Hours (No Appointment Needed) held on Tuesdays from 9 am-11 am.
