Immersive, Meaningful Practices for Accountable Campus Transformation (IMPACT)
SIUE’s University Strategic Plan affirms our commitment to developing a diverse, inclusive and supportive university community. Achieving this goal requires the engagement, support and accountability of the entire SIUE community. SIUE’s IMPACT (Immersive Meaningful Practices for Accountable Campus Transformation) Center engages faculty, staff, students and community members as catalysts and leaders in transforming SIUE into an environment where racism, harmful biases and discrimination are not accepted. IMPACT Academy Trainers support self-discovery, professional development and one’s understanding and investment in inclusive excellence by cultivating a more equitable and inclusive learning environment for our students, working environment for our faculty and staff and living environment for our community members.
