Teaching Assistantship (1086-2022)

Qualifications

Applicant must be enrolled in a minimum of 6, but no more than 12 credit hours per academic term for fall and spring. Applicant must maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average.
Applicant must be enrolled in the Art and Design MFA Program. Preference is given to those applicants with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art and Design, and that have demonstrated understanding of 3D Design principles and fabrication skills. 

Position Description

Primary duty serving Painting and Drawing faculty as a teaching assistant. The TA will assist faculty in teaching undergraduate courses by performing demonstrations, preparing studio materials, maintaining equipment, teaching safety procedures and protocols, providing technical support.
