Job Description
Graduate assistantships require that the awardees participate in support of the instructional and/or research programs in the School of Engineering. Assignments will be for 10 hours per week (25%). The appointments require concurrent registration in an academic program at SIUE as full-time students. The assistant must make satisfactory progress toward completing the degree program.
Qualifications Required
Assistantships are awarded on a competitive basis and applicants must be admitted into a graduate program of study at SIUE in Engineering. Computer Science majors are given priority consideration. Proficiency in course content and fluency in the English language are required for appointments with teaching responsibilities.
Period of Appointment
One or two semesters during the academic year 2018-2019
