School of Pharmacy

Partners in Pharmacy Education, Practice, Research and Service

The role of pharmacists has grown far beyond dispensing drugs to have a vital role in delivering the high quality, affordable and accessible healthcare people and communities need for their health and well-being.   As the only pharmacy school located in downstate Illinois, the SIUE School of Pharmacy is the leading provider of the highly competent, contributing and caring pharmacists who are advancing the pharmacy profession and the quality of patient-care in southern Illinois and the St. Louis metro region.

The School is being also noticed for innovative research in neuroscience, psychiatry and pain management with over $4.5M in top-tier grants awarded in the past year.  A new master’s in pharmaceutical sciences will launch this fall to further leverage faculty strengths and existing infrastructure in ways that will broaden areas of research, and adds emerging career options for our students.

The High Impact Campaign invites alumni, parents, board members, faculty, friends, businesses, foundations and associations to partner with the SIUE School of Pharmacy to support the next level of excellence in pharmacy education for the benefit of our region, state and nation.
