Equitable Collaboration Practices (Webinar) – April 4
Posted March 15, 2023
Discipline(s): Science and Engineering
Research collaboration is essential in the conduct of science, but many collaborations reflect inequitable practices that undermine the success of the project. This webinar describes how to build collaborations that are transparent, equitable, and allow for creative growth through clear communication and respect for all contributions. This session covers UMass ADVANCE tools and checklists for approaches to creating equitable research collaboration.
UMass ADVANCE is funded by a $3.1M National Science Foundation (NSF) ADVANCE-IT grant, with a goal of advancing women faculty, including women faculty of color, in science and engineering.
To learn more about equitable collaboration practices, join Dr. Laurel Smith-Doerr and Dr. Jennifer Normanly, UMass Amherst ADVANCE for a webinar on April 4, 2023, from 4:00-5:00pm, in Zoom.
