NSF TIP Directorate Information Webinar – September 19

Miami University invites you to a webinar featuring the leadership of the newly formed National Science Foundation (NSF) directorate, Technology, Innovation and Partnerships (TIP). TIP is a new NSF directorate that supports translational research. It will include existing programs such as iCORP, SBIR, and STTR.
Miami is hosting the webinar to provide researchers with insight into the TIP Directorate and forthcoming funding opportunities. The webinar will feature Dr. Erwin Gianchandani, Assistant Director of the Directorate for Technology, Innovation and Partnerships. Dr. Gianchandani is leading the newly established TIP Directorate and seeks to build the new TIP Directorate in collaboration with colleagues at NSF, other government agencies, industry, and academia. The TIP Directorate is focused on speeding the development and deployment of the next generation of these technological marvels with an eye toward addressing the foremost challenges that society and the economy face today.
The 1 hour webinar, to be held on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 10 am, is jointly hosted by the Office of Research and Innovation, and ASPIRE (Advancing Strategy, Partnerships, Institutional Relations, and Economy).
