Seed Grants for Transitional and Exploratory Projects (STEP) and Baich Awards Workshops

The Office of Research & Projects will host two information sessions for the Seed grants for Transitional and Exploratory Projects (STEP) internal funding program, which provides startup funding on a competitive basis to SIUE faculty and staff to support research and creative activities. STEP funding is intended to encourage faculty to initiate new research directions or new research projects.
Workshops will be held on:
- Thursday, October 28th at 10:00a-11:30a, at this Zoom link.
- Wednesday, December 1, 2021 – 12:00p-1:30p, Missouri Room (Morris University Center (2nd Floor).
If you are interested in attending one of these workshops, please sign up at https://siue.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3PJ4UVzsieYuDaZ. While these workshops are not required they are highly recommended.
If you plan to apply, applications are due in Kuali Build on the third Friday in January (Friday, January 21, 2022).
The highest ranked STEP awardee from eligible applicants will also receive the $1,000 Annette and Henry Baich Award.
