NSF EHR Announcements: CAREER Proposals Submitted to the Directorate for Education and Human Resources
Posted June 23, 2020
Dear Education and Human Resources (EHR) Community:
I am pleased to inform you that the Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR) recently issued a Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) encouraging eligible members of the STEM education research community to submit proposals to the National Science Foundation’s [Faculty Early] CAREER [Development] program (NSF 20-084).
EHR invests strategically in research to understand STEM learning and education. Supporting early-career investigators is a crucial element of this investment across our programs.
The CAREER Program is a Foundation-wide activity that offers NSF’s most prestigious awards in support of early-career faculty (and eligible investigators at non-degree-granting organizations, such as museums, observatories, or research labs) who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization.
There are many opportunities for educational researchers and educators, and I encourage you to submit proposals and share this information with your colleagues.
Sincerely,
Karen Marrongelle
Assistant Director
Directorate for Education and Human Resources
