Civic Innovation Challenge
The NSF Civic Innovation Challenge has several important updates to share with you:
1.The deadline to submit proposals has been extended to August 3rd, 2020.- NSF has issued a new Dear Colleague Letter, Supporting Research on Pandemics within the Civic Innovation Challenge and Broadened NSF Support for the Challenge (NSF 20-100), clarifying the additional support and focus areas of the program.
- The Division of Civil, Mechanical and Manufacturing Innovation in the Directorate for Engineering has joined the program.
- The Anticipated Funding Amount has been increased to $11 million.
