Interdisciplinary Faculty Learning Community
Interdisciplinary Faculty Learning Communities
Are you thriving in the online and remote work environment? Are you frustrated with online teaching? Are you scared of trying a new technology? How have your assessments changed with the online transition? Are you in need of emotional support, a laugh and some encouragement from non-judgmental peers? Let’s share and learn from each other.
A small group faculty across different disciplines will meet over Zoom once weekly (one hour) throughout the semester to discuss online pedagogy, offer advice and best practices, troubleshoot challenges and share ideas/resources. Instructional designers will be available for technical questions.
Groups: This semester we will be offering two groups: one led by a Tenure-Track Faculty member (McKenzie Ferguson, Pharmacy) and another led by a Non-Tenure Track Faculty member (Erin Vanderbunt, Applied Health). You're welcome to join either one of the groups. Groups will be limited to 15 faculty members. Priority will be given to those who were not participants in last fall's group.
