Kurt Neuhaus
Assistant Coordinator for Water Quality Control
Kurt Neuhaus joined ERTC in 2009. Prior to that he had a 30 year mining career serving 17 years on the mine rescue team receiving extensive safety and confined space training. Kurt joined the ERTC staff shortly after graduation and works with students operating and maintaining the ERTC pilot plant. He has also operated the SIUE Waste Water Treatment Facility. Kurt also serves as the ERTC's principal liason for the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency's operator certification program.
