The School of Engineering has several ways to help you publicize your event, and all groups are encouraged to use these opportunities to let people know about your fundraisers, competitions, guest speakers, etc.

Email: An email can be forwarded to engineering students. You will need to compose the text of the announcement.

Facebook: We can create a facebook event for your organization.

Atrium TV: A one-page advertisement shown on the TV in the atrium. Your ad should be submitted as a single Power Point slide to Veronica ( or Theresa (

SIUE Calendar: SIUE has a searchable calendar of events. Send your event information to Veronica ( to have it entered into the official calendar. Please include a contact person, email, and phone number for the event as well as a short description. A thumbnail picture can be included, but must not exceed 250 x 250 pixels.

Schedule an Event / Reserve Space on Campus


  1. Register your event with Kimmel Leadership Center. A staff member there will approve the event and give you two copies of a signed event form.
  2. Take the signed form to Event Services in the MUC, room 2053. Event services will do the actual scheduling.
  3. Event services will email you a confirmation of your room reservation.

If you wish to double check your event's room reservation, you can do so through the Dean's office.
