Assistant/Associate Professor, Oral Pathology

Job Description/Responsibilities
The Assistant/Associate Professor of Oral Pathology’s responsibilities will include didactic and clinical teaching at both the postgraduate and undergraduate levels. This position is also strongly encouraged to work in collaboration with other faculty, in both research and teaching, as well as provide service to the university and community. Opportunity for extramural practice is available.

Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications include a DDS/DMD degree from an American or Canadian Dental School or its equivalent and a specialty Certificate in Oral Pathology from a CODA approved postgraduate program. Experience in teaching and research is desirable.

Candidates holding an M.S. degree are preferred. Applicants must be licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Illinois, or be able to meet the requirements for permanent/teaching licensure in Illinois. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Terms of Appointment
Full time (12 month), tenure track beginning July 1, 2018.
