Internal Faculty Funding Opportunities

There are two streams of funding through which faculty can obtain modest support for professional development. There is one stream of funding through which faculty can obtain modest support for research purposes.

The Dean’s Grant, which can be used for professional development OR  research enhancement is administered entirely by the SEHHB. A final report is required.

The Faculty Development Grant is funded through allocations that are occasionally released throught he provost's office. These applications are reviewed in and granted from the SEHHB Dean’s Office. Please consult the procedures document for more information. A final report is required.

Each grant program has its own time constraints and limitations, which is stated on the application form for Dean’s Grants, and on the procedures form for Faculty Development Grants. Final reports are required for both grant programs, and are due the semester following the project semester. Failure to submit a final report may result in ineligibility for future funding.
