All completed applications must be submitted in-person to Mrs. Muhammad in the School Office at 601 James R. Thompson Boulevard, East St. Louis, IL 62201-1118. The main office number is 618-482-8370 and her email is pamcoll@siue.edu.
To start the process, you have two options:
- You can download the application, complete it, and submit the application and required documents at Charter High School.
- You can visit the Charter High School and complete the application onsite. If you do not have all of your required documents, your enrollment may be delayed.

After submission of the completed application (with required documentation), parents/guardians must complete the verification process at the James Williams Family Engagement Center of East St. Louis School District 189. East St. Louis residency is required for CHS enrollment.
The James Williams Engagement Center is located (401 Katherine Dunham Place).
For current enrolled students, please complete the Intent to Return form for returning students. You would only need to complete the intent survey form for returning students. If there are any siblings involved, you'll need to complete and submit the application for them as well.
Students cannot be enrolled at Charter High School without a completed application, district verification, and a formal letter from the School.
