SEHHB Internal Faculty Funding Opportunities
In the SIUE School of Education, Health and Human Behavior, there are two streams of funding through which faculty can obtain modest support for professional development. There is also one stream of funding through which faculty can obtain modest support for research.
Dean's grants (for research or professional development) are suspended for the fall of 2022 and spring of 2023. The text below is preserved for when funding is restored.
Professional Development Support
- The Faculty Development Grant (not available in FA21 or SP22) is funded through allocations that are occasionally released through the provost's office. These applications are reviewed in and granted from the SEHHB Dean’s Office. A final report is required to remain eligible for future funding.
- The Dean’s Grant for Professional Development is administered entirely by the SEHHB. A final report is required to remain eligible for future funding. Each fall and spring, application procedures and deadlines are announced by department chairs or the associate dean.
Research Support
- The Dean's Grant for Research Enhancement is administered entirely by the SEHHB, and a final report is required to remain eligible for future funding. Application procedures and deadlines are usually announced in the fall and spring semesters by department chairs.
