Tyson Hicks is a mass communications major mainly focused on journalism. Tyson grew up in the small village of Valmeyer, Ill., where he developed one of his favorite hobbies—hiking—while growing up surrounded by various forests. Tyson is a resident assistant for Cougar Village, and spends a lot of his time working to make his residents comfortable and safe in their community. His future goal would be to work for a popular newspaper or as an on-scene reporter to be one of the first to “get the scoop” on a story.
