About the Dashboard
When a campus climate concern is reported, records are made and retained to ensure members of the SIUE community have appropriate access to information related to these incidents and concerns. Appropriately redacted reports are tracked and shared on the Campus Climate Reporting System Dashboard to increase transparency around the types of reports received and what response was given. It is important to note that responses vary depending on information received within the report and whether additional information must be gathered for a more thorough response.
As each report progresses in the process, the dashboard will be updated to reflect up-to-date information that is appropriate to share with the community.
Report Listed on Dashboard
A member of the CCRS Support Team will contact the reporting party (if follow-up is requested) to set up an initial meeting to discuss an appropriate response. Within 48 hours of that meeting, the CCRS dashboard will be updated with the following information:
- What happened: As is legally and appropriately allowable
- What is being done: This will be based on the response agreed to by the reporting party and facilitated by the CCRS support team member, within the parameters of what is legally and appropriately allowable
- Status of the incident:
- In Review: A CCRS support team member met with the reporting party and is working with the appropriate offices and departments to take appropriate action (referral for investigation, informal resolution, etc.)
- Monitoring: This situation may be actively ongoing; however, CCRS support team members may continue working with appropriate departments, offices, and individuals to track and prevent additional/future campus climate concerns
- Resolved: At this time, CCRS support team members and campus departments and offices believe this situation has been handled in a way that prevents or mitigates additional/future campus climate concerns. Or, the specific report has reached a conclusion because of a lack of information.
