SIU School of Dental Medicine Commencement Celebrates Class of 2018

The SIU School of Dental Medicine Class of 2018.The Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine (SIU SDM) celebrated the achievements of 52 students with the bestowal of doctor of dental medicine degrees during its commencement ceremony held Saturday, June 2 in SIUE’s Morris University Center’s Meridian Ballroom.

The SIU SDM’s 43rd class of graduates received their doctoral hoods, including six students who completed the School’s inaugural Brittany Pham, DMD, was named class valedictorian and was presented the Alpha Omega Award during the SIU SDM commencement ceremony.International Advanced Placement Program, which began in 2016.

SIU Trustees Approve Contracts for SIUE Infrastructure Improvements and Student Recruitment

The Southern Illinois University Board of Trustees today approved contracts to provide infrastructure improvements for the Edwardsville campus and support marketing efforts to sustain undergraduate and graduate student recruitment during its regularly scheduled meeting on the Carbondale campus. Weissinger Named SIUE Teaching Excellence Award Winner

Sandra WeissingerThe Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Office of the Provost announced that Sandra Weissinger, PhD, is the recipient of the annual Teaching Excellence Award for tenure-track faculty.
