This course is designed to provide students with a foundation in R programming. Students will learn the fundamentals of R syntax; how to identify, manipulate, and work with different types of variables and arrays; how to build their own functions; how to perform basic data analyses; and how to create and modify graphics. No prior knowledge of R or other programming languages is required, although a familiarity with Excel is helpful.
